Tomb of Annihilation (Session 8)
Thavakean meets with Volo who expects to get the dinosaur back and sell it. Instead Thavakean is fond of the Allosaurus and intimidates Volo into selling it to him for 100 gold instead of the 300 Volo wanted to get. Meanwhile Alyssia heads to the Temple of Sune to make ready for the evening meal with the Merchant Prince. When Alyssia get back she attempts to convince Volo to part with a copy of his book but stumbles over her words before sheepishly handing over the 50 gold. The evening meal with Wakanga goes well. The party learns of his Wizard friend who went out into the Jungle with a Construct but never came back. Wakanga promises a Spellbook or item from his collection plus a discount on magical items at his shop should the party bring back the construct and control amulet. The next day they arrange to meet with Eku - the guide interested in ridding the jungle of evil and seemed to know of temples and ruins.
